SEDA began its activity in 1973 specializing in the areas of cardiosurgery, cardiology, orthopidaedics, anaesthesia, otorhinolaryngology and general surgery.
Alongside its own commercial ends, SEDA has always had the utmost regard to patient care, through the introduction of new and efficient techniques. This, in various way, has helped the medical class to evaluate the advantages and opportunities for use in Italy.

Our sequence of successful business over more than thirty years, constantly growing not only in terms of turnover and employees but especially in the quality of the service, SEDA has demonstrated to be able to satisfy at the highest level different and numerous hospital requirements, by adapting to and often anticipating evolutions in the market.

The business objectives of SEDA are the research, selection and importation of medical consumables, electro-medical equipment and the most technologically advanced health care products.

OUR organization

SEDA operations are developed by direct sellers or exclusive commissioned to cover the whole country.
The company headquarter is based in Trezzano sul Naviglio (MILANO).
The marketing and sales organization comprises a general manager and ,for each of the business units, marketing manager, sales managers,product managers and product specialists. Sales people are mainly related to geographical areas.
Special care is given to educational activities for our product specialists and for healthcare professionals through workshops, seminars and scientific meetings.
A technical lab with the state-of-the-art equipment and in accordance with the highest standard of the quality system is available for maintenance in-house or at any location in Italy.
At the present stage, we are focused on five business units: anesthesia, critical care, emergency, cardiology, MDS (medical Device Specialities) which is focused on general and vascular surgery, dialisis, gastroenterelogy, stam cells.

Quality

SEDA has achieved recognition for the high standards of quality in accordance to the ISO 9002 and in cooperation with our certified body, IMQ, constantly monitors and upgrades quality procedures and processes through auditing and, if necessary, corrective actions as well as preventive measures and continuous ongoing personnel education and training.

All of our  products are CE marked, in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC Annex II.
